Almost 14% of Swedens current population was born abroad. This number has increased steadily over the last decades and is expected to continue to do so in the future.
Besides Sweden's immigrants there are also a vast number of citizens speaking one of our official minority languages; Finnish, Meänkieli (a Finnish dialect spoken in northeast Sweden), jiddisch, rommani, saami and - with a special legal status - sign language.
Within the Swedish public sector, a number of initiatives have been taken to improve communication with those who does not have Swedish as their native tongue. But much is yet undone.
When it comes to the private sector it is still quite unusual to find companies providing services in other languages. This would have been rather natural in Sweden of 1960, but is not good enough today. NåFram AB believes there are lost business opportunities to explore for those companies that are willing to improve their communication skills.
NåFram AB's target group is not among the many individuals. We seek to help companies/organizations/authorities to improve their communications with their customers or stakeholders, both ways.
It is expensive to provide customer service in several languages but is also expensive to be unclear in communicating. NåFram AB believe that many companies and organizations should be able to give good service on the Internet
